We're Back!

I know I have been gone for almost forever, but I am back!! I am REALLY going to work hard at keeping this up!!! I promise this time. For those of you that still find the need to read this blog that NEVER gets updated...PLEASE REMIND ME TO BLOG!!!

Here is the low down short version catch up:
1. The kids & I enjoyed VBS at FBC.
2. I took my car in for a check engine light repair only to find out VERY bad news...I needed a new engine. So, after 3 weeks with NO car & SEVERAL thousand dollars later I was back in business (still make me sick to think about)!
3. We took a VERY mush needed vacation to the beach for the 4th of July week! Thanks SaSa, we couldn't have done it without you.
4. When we returned, Marc's check engine light was on. I will insert that my car is still in the shop at this point. Thankfully his was only a 7 dollar problem :)!
5. Marc celebrated number 35!! Happy Birthday to him!
6. We soak up & enjoyed the last remaining days of summer. The kids are swimming like little fish, so they have wanted to be at a pool whenever possible. NO FEAR now!!! In fact, the are now jumping off the diving board & swimming to the side with NO NOODLE!!!
7. The boys started school last week, so hints the new background!! I have a special post just for that coming later today when I upload the pictures.

SO, I am back!!!! Hope your Summer has been great!!

YES, to VBS!!!

Ok, so we are in VBS this week. I think this has to be the BEST one I have EVER been to in my life. I love all the stories, music, food, & FRIENDS!! Maybe it is just that I have needed a break with some adult interaction :)!! I am working with the 4th grade & LOVE IT!! These kids are SUPER smart!!! Anyway, I will post pictures on Friday!!

Sorry for not posting for a while, but I have been CRAZY BUSY. I know, I am not the only one in the world that is busy, so I will save that complaint for another day. Motherhood is definitely the MOST challenging job EVER!!! Since my last post...I have had one sister graduate from High School, my babies turned 4 (yes, they are 4 and ALL boy), another sister got married, & I have sewed COUNTLESS things. My machine took a rest last week, while I was under the weather. I lost my voice last Wed & it is still not back 100%. I really haven't heard many of the people in this house complain :)!! I am just choosing my words wisely & making them count!!!

Ok, back to finish my monogramming for the night. I will be back with pictures & posting regularly when life returns to normal (insert BIG laugh here)!!

Beautiful Day!

This has been the best day of the month. The weather has been wonderful & we took in every minute! Please Lord, for the sake of those that have children, let it stay like this ALL summer. Can I get an AMEN?!?!? Well, we did soak it up all day...we trimmed shrubs, cut grass, played football in the front yard, ate supper outside, went for a walk with daddy, and asleep in bed before 7:45pm. GREAT DAY!!! But, there is one image that I tried to capture on a camera, but couldn't. I was watering the plants by my bathroom window & up pops Caleb in the window, so I sprayed water on the window at him. He cackled so hard!! This went on a few times until Mason caught on, then they were both cackling...MELT MY HEART!!! This is what being a mother is ALL about!!! Hope you all enjoyed your day! Maybe a can get a picture of them laughing this week!!!

Long time...No post!!!

Let me start by apologizing for being absent so long. I am HORRIBLE at this blogging thing. I find myself loving everyone else's & forgetting me. I must I have some creative & talented friends out their with blogs. PLEASE share your secret. I am going to get better. Plus, this crazy Blogspot is super slow & has CRAZY way to upload photos now!! SO, I am going to give a recap to all of you who still read this blog that NEVER gets a new post. Hold on tight for the 3 month update (did I really just say 3 months). Please someone remind me to BLOG!!!

Feb 2010:
1. Both boys had the croup for a week
2. It snowed on Feb 12, but C was too sick to even go outside
3. A family reunion

March 2010
1. I celebrated number 31...Birthdays that is
2. We went to Blue Ridge, Ga for a couple of days. I wish I was there now!!!
3. Celebrated 8 wonderful years of marriage
4. Hosted a shower for my sister getting married in June.

April 2010
1. Sew the first week of April for my boys Easter outfit while taking care of C who had a HORRIBLE stomach virus
2. Celebrated the RISEN SAVIOR!!!
3. Marc attended his first Masters practice round...He was a kid in a candy store!!!
4. Attended my sister's Tool Man Shower
5. Took the boys to their first Auburn game (A-DAY). They are hooked already!!!
6. Decorated a table for our Mother/Daughter Supper at church. It was SUPER cute if I must say so myself!!!
7. Went to another shower for my sister

May 2010
1. Saw & ate lunch with Paula Deen... Thank you Aunt Sasa!!!
2. Hosted an ice cream sundae party for my sister Jenna who is graduating!!!!

SO, that is about it!! This month is going to really crazy leading up to the boys birthday & a WEDDING!!!! I am going on a LONG vacation after June 5, so in the meantime...REMIND ME TO BLOG!!!!!

Happy February & Changes Coming to the Blog!

Happy February everyone!! Yes, I know it has been a month since I have blogged!! I would rather look at everyone else blogs than to update my own!! I am a BLOG junky :)!! There should be some support group for this :)!!

I am working on updating the blog & have some picture that I am going to post soon. BUT, in the mean time, I need some help. Do any of you blog savy people know how to add a picture to the header? Just would like to add something cute to the blog!!! I am open to suggestions!!!!

Will post pictures soon. In the meantime, I will working on updating the blog!!!

Happy 2010

Hey everyone!! SO, I have been on somewhat of a break during the holidays, but I am now back. I hope you & your families have had a very special holiday season. We had a very great holiday & now glad to be back in the swing of things. I have put the sewing machine (read NEW ADDICTION) up for the rest of this week. I will get back to sewing next week since I have a few orders.

As I was reflecting over the last year, I was thinking about things I wanted to do better in this NEW year. I am sure most of you have done the same thing. SO, I thought I would share a few with you.

1. Grow closer to God (more consistent quiet/prayer time)
2. More time with my kids (to learn to let some things go b/c my babies are only little once)
3. Get organized
4. Blog a little more (this is for my kids one day)
5. Lose weight & get a little more healthy (why do I do this every year)
6. Read so more books (yes, I said that-which means stay off the computer)

Well, that is just a few of them!! Maybe I won't neglect any of them this year!! I am going to be posting some pictures this week some time. So check back soon!!! Wishing you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
